Social Media Automation Pricing: What the $19 Plan Automates
The automation is the same on every plan. Only the limits grow.
Social media automation pricing at AdaptlyPost starts at $19 a month on the Creator plan, which its pricing page gives the same automation as the $89 Enterprise plan: API, MCP server, CLI, RSS auto-posting, Zapier, n8n and browser extensions. Creator holds:
- 30 connected accounts on 13 social networks: Bluesky, Facebook, Google Business Profile, Instagram, LinkedIn, Mastodon, Pinterest, Telegram, Threads, TikTok, Tumblr, X and YouTube.
- Unlimited scheduled posts, with image, video and carousel posts.
- 150 AI credits a month for captions and images. The pricing page puts a caption or a standard image at 2 credits and a premium image at 4, and your own AI key spends none.
- One user and one workspace. A second login means the $39 Pro plan.
| Plan | Monthly | Paid yearly | Accounts | Users | Workspaces | AI credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Creator | $19 | $15.83 | 30 | 1 | 1 | 150 |
| Pro | $39 | $32.50 | 60 | 3 | 3 | 400 |
| Enterprise | $89 | $74.17 | 100 | 10 | 10 | 1,000 |
Billed yearly, Creator is $190 a year, about $15.83 a month, which the pricing page calls saving 17%.

Social Media Automation Tools in the $19 Plan
Five of the ways a post goes out without you pressing publish.
The social media automation tools in the $19 plan are the ones every plan gets, going by AdaptlyPost's pricing and bulk scheduling pages, read November 2, 2026:
- RSS feeds. Each new article in a blog's RSS or Atom feed becomes a draft, a scheduled post or a live post on up to 9 networks, checked as often as every 15 minutes, with captions from a template or AI.
- Recurring posts. Through the composer or the API, a post repeats by frequency and weekday, yearly included, until an end date or a post count, and each series can be paused and resumed.
- Bulk scheduling. Drop in up to 100 videos or 30 image posts per session and spread them by posts per day, or import text posts from a CSV, Excel or .txt file.
- API, MCP and CLI. One API request carries up to 100 posts, each with its own text, media and time, and a dry run lists every problem first. The CLI schedules a week of posts from a CSV.
- Zapier, n8n and webhooks. Signed webhooks report scheduled, published and failed posts, and the n8n node can start a workflow when a post publishes or fails, or an account disconnects.
Cheapest Social Media Automation on Our List With API or MCP Posting
At 30 accounts, Publer's plan with an API and MCP bills $189 and Buffer's $135. Creator bills $19.
The cheapest paid social media automation on our list with API or MCP posting is AdaptlyPost's Creator plan from 4 accounts up, since both come with its $19 price at every count to 30. Below, for one user billed monthly, is each tool's cheapest plan whose API or MCP can schedule posts, read or worked out from its pricing page on November 1, 2026 and rechecked November 2:
| Tool | 5 accounts | 10 accounts | 30 accounts |
|---|---|---|---|
| AdaptlyPost | $19 | $19 | $19 |
| Metricool | $25 | $25 | $25 |
| SoMePoster | $39 | $39 | $79 |
| SocialPilot | $30 | $42 | $110 |
| Buffer | $30 | $60 | $135 |
| Publer | $35 | $63 | $189 |
Publer's API and MCP start on its Business plan, and SoMePoster's on its $39 Business plan for 25 accounts, which caps X posts. Metricool charges by brand, so $25 covers up to 5 brands of one profile per network, plus $10 a month for each X account. SocialPilot's $30 plan holds 7 accounts at $4 for each extra one, so 10 cost $42, while 30 come cheaper on its $50 plan for 15 plus 15 extras. Hootsuite and Sprout Social name no MCP an outside agent can post through, and we found no MCP server for Later, SocialBee or Sendible.
Without an API or MCP, plain scheduling can cost the same or less: Publer's Professional plan is $16 for 4 accounts, and SoMePoster's $19 Creator plan holds 10. Below 4 accounts, Buffer charges $18 for 3 channels and Publer's Business plan $10 for one account. Buffer's and Metricool's free plans include their MCP too, with caps on posts and networks, and they beat $19 if the caps fit.
Automated X Posts: The Link Catch to Check Before You Buy
It matters most if your automation posts links to X.
Automated X posts on AdaptlyPost carry a link catch to check before you buy: on normal subscription plans, every link in an X post goes out unclickable, so example.com arrives as example. com. AdaptlyPost's tool docs say X charges over 10 times more for a post with a link, and Gigazine reported the price change: since April 20, 2026, a post with a link costs $0.20 through X's API and a plain one $0.015.
If clickable X links are the point of your automation, AdaptlyPost's subscription plans are the wrong fit for X. Threads on X are unclear: AdaptlyPost's support page says X threads can't be scheduled, while its changelog and post tool list up to 25 replies, so test one in the trial.
Free Trial Terms for Social Media Automation
Seven days on the plan you pick, and your posts stay viewable after.
The free trial terms for social media automation on AdaptlyPost are short, as there is no free plan. From its pricing FAQ, support pages and tool docs, reread November 2, 2026:
- Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, Creator included, and starting it checks your card for $0. The trial includes a set number of X posts.
- When the trial ends, your content stays viewable, and scheduling and publishing come back once you pick a paid plan. RSS feeds and recurring series pause themselves while no plan covers publishing, and each can be resumed after.
- Canceling during the trial ends it right away, and no payment is taken.
- No lock-in contract: cancel from the Billing page anytime and keep access to the end of the paid period.
- Within 14 days of a purchase, AdaptlyPost's support page promises a full refund on request, no questions asked. Its terms tie the 14 days to your first subscription payment, leave out renewals and AI credits already used, and keep the right to refuse a request that breaks the terms or shows abuse.
A refund on request within 14 days of the first payment. The catch: links in your X posts won't be clickable on this plan. Affiliate link: we earn a commission if you buy.
AI Social Media Automation: Plans Your Agent Can Post On
Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor can post through the $19 plan.
AI social media automation works on every AdaptlyPost plan, because the MCP server that Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Windsurf connect to comes with Creator. Claude adds it as a connector with one sign-in and no API token, and the ChatGPT plugin drafts, schedules and publishes, showing you each post and asking before anything goes out. AdaptlyPost lists 33 MCP tools, from bulk scheduling to retrying only the network that failed.
We run our own posting this way. On October 27, 2026 our AI agent queued 100 Facebook posts for one brand, 10 a day for 10 days, in a single bulk_schedule_posts call, and all 100 were accepted. Our other brand's 168 posts, scheduled through December 29, 2026, went in through the REST API on October 10, 2026.
Social Media Automation for Agencies: What the Pro Plan Costs
Three logins, three workspaces and 60 accounts for $39.
Social media automation for agencies starts on AdaptlyPost's Pro plan at $39 a month, with 3 team members, 3 workspaces and 60 accounts. Members get roles: a Contributor can send a whole bulk batch for review, and an admin or editor schedules it from Drafts in one step. Enterprise is $89 a month for 10 members, 10 workspaces and 100 accounts.
AdaptlyPost Review: Is Its Automation Worth Paying For?
Two brands, 125 posts published, none waiting on a retry.
This AdaptlyPost review is based on our own account, and we think its automation is worth paying for if you run 4 or more accounts and can live without clickable links on X. Our first brand moved onto it on October 2, 2026 and the second on October 10, and by November 2 it had published 125 of our posts, 16 on a LinkedIn company page, with 164 queued and none waiting on a retry. YouTube Shorts were the weak spot, failing from October 12 to 17 on a shared upload quota until we added YouTube's backup connector, and once more on October 31. Each went out on retry.
We haven't set up RSS feeds or recurring posts, so those parts come from AdaptlyPost's own pages. Our counts were read through its MCP connector, and our account isn't on the Creator plan, so go by the plan table above. AdaptlyPost pays us a commission when you buy through our links, and we know its developer through a business community.

Social Media Automation Questions
What is social media automation?
Social media automation is software that publishes posts for you on rules you set: a schedule, a feed, a repeat or an AI agent's instructions. AdaptlyPost does all four from $19 a month.
What is the best tool to automate social media?
The best tool to automate social media depends on your account count and on X links. For API or MCP posting, AdaptlyPost is the cheapest paid plan on our list from 4 accounts up, though its X links aren't clickable on normal plans.
Can ChatGPT automate social media posts?
ChatGPT can automate social media posts once it is connected to a scheduler. Through AdaptlyPost's ChatGPT plugin it drafts, schedules and publishes, and it shows you each post and asks before anything goes out.
What are social media automation tools?
Social media automation tools are apps that post for you once you set the rules: schedulers, RSS-to-social feeds, bulk uploaders, and APIs or MCP servers that AI agents post through. AdaptlyPost's $19 plan has all four.
What is the 70/20/10 rule for social media?
The 70/20/10 rule for social media splits posts by purpose: 70% that build your brand, 20% shared from other sources and 10% promotion, in ARI's version, while Sprout Social's 70% goes to educational or entertaining posts. An RSS feed can post the 20% for you.
Can I automate my LinkedIn posts?
You can automate your LinkedIn posts with AdaptlyPost by scheduling or repeating them, posting new articles from an RSS feed, or letting an AI agent queue them. Of our published posts, 16 went to a LinkedIn company page, all queued by our AI agent.
How to automate Instagram posts for free?
To automate Instagram posts for free, use a capped free plan: Buffer's holds 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts each, and Metricool's holds one brand with 20 posts a month and no LinkedIn or X. AdaptlyPost's free part is its 7-day trial.
Does automating posts hurt reach?
Automating posts with a scheduler doesn't hurt reach on Instagram, according to its head, Adam Mosseri, who said in March 2025 and again in August 2026 that scheduling doesn't change reach. AdaptlyPost says it publishes through each platform's official API.
